The Vitality Group is recruiting Master’s and PhD students for summer internships at our New York office. We seek innovative interns passionate about driving behavior change to tackle chronic disease risks and improve health through the use of data.

The Intern will support Vitality research projects, working directly with an established clinical epidemiologist. The research will be focused on data analyses on Vitality’s workplace well-being program. The intern will be part of the Global Health Strategy Team led by Chief Health Officer Derek Yach. Ad hoc support will also be required, from blog writing to assisting with other timely projects.

Experience
Interns must have solid backgrounds in public health datasets (handling, management) and basic statistical analytical skills. They must be familiar with the evidence base of solutions to reduce major chronic disease risks, strong writing skills, and interest in applying such knowledge within a business setting. Research experience is preferable.

Timing, Pay, Location

  • Interns will be compensated based on experience.
  • Interns will work out of the New York office (Columbus Circle) or remotely, depending on location.
  • Summer internship: May-August (specific start/end dates are flexible) for 40 hours per week.
